| 20 min | Assertive response role-plays Small groups receive scenario cards with common difficult situations; practice assertive responses |
| 15 min | Language barrier bingo Review examples of jargon, bypassing, and abstraction; students identify and fix the barriers |
| 10 min | Personal action plan Students identify one situation where they want to be more assertive and draft an I-statement for it |
